You and your body is the only relationship you will have for the entirety of your life. Yet many of us are alienated from or waging war against our own bodies. Through the wisdom of yoga learn to heal this relationship and embrace you just as you are, today, now and reconnect with the wisdom from within.
Through yoga movement reconnect with your physical body. Learn how to truly inhabit your body, to feel, to flow, to heal from within. We'll start by nurturing your body with gentle stretches, then progress to strengthening and empowering flows, before exploring how to find bliss and joy in your body.
Each week has a different theme as we explore the relationship: Ahimsa, open the dialogue with kindness. Satya, listen to the truth of the body. Asteya, Body I appreciate you. Brahmacharya, wise management of your most precious resource your energy. Aparigraha, release control and trust.
Using yoga meditation and breathing techniques to still the thought waves of the mind. Once the mind begins to still you realise you are not your thoughts or your judgements and you can release the harsh voice we use against ourselves. Make peace with your thoughts and listen to the voice of your soul.
Over the 5 weeks, we'll use a variety of different yoga movement styles including Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. The focus is on tuning it to your body and allowing the yoga shapes to flow from your organic self making this course suitable for all experience and abilities.
I love to share my courses live on Zoom so that we can be in the same energy together but all sessions will be recorded so you can participate in the course any time/day that suits you or repeat the classes with lifetime access to the recordings! Replays our sent out within 24 hours.
