The New Moon symbolise the darkness, a drawing in, a time for rest, and hibernation which leads to renewal and renewed energy. This yoga class is about deep relaxation, it includes a simple standing movement meditation to connect to the fluidity of the moon's energy, followed by restorative yoga pose using 2-3 bed pillows. The class ends with a long guided relaxation also known as Yoga Nidra. This class was recorded during a zoom live stream.

The New Moon symbolise the darkness, a drawing in, a time for rest, and hibernation which leads to renewal and renewed energy. A Gentle Yoga Flow inspired by the beauty of the Full Moon. With round, sweeping movements, gentle stretches, hip opening, and guided relaxation to calm and soothe. You can do this class with no props, but a yoga strap (dressing gown chord), 1 bed pillow and two yoga blocks (or 2 plump cushions) will support you in relaxing more fully. Restorative Yoga is all about total rest and relaxation and is the perfect end to the working week. Deeply relaxing yoga poses supported by props help to restore balance to the nervous system, and guided breathing and meditation soothe the mind. In restorative yoga the body is fully supported by a variety of different props so that there is no active engagement of the muscles, instead, they get to gently stretch, relax and open into the comfort of the props. You will need a bolsterm, block, pillow and blanket for this class. This recording was made during a Live Zoom class.

Deeply relaxing yoga poses supported by props help to restore balance to the nervous system, and guided breathing and meditation soothe the mind.
